Gloria Sol is an idependent artist that grew up in the urban streets of South Central Los Angeles. She was raised by her single mother and grew up with her older brother. Life  presented itself as very difficult early on, but Gloria found solace in music. She began singing at the age of 9 when her mother and brother discovered she could sing while on a trip to Mexicali, B.C. Once that seed was implanted in her soul, there was nothing and no one that would seperate her from that passion. With what was a such new introduction, she signed up to the first school choir class at her school,  Plummer Elementary,  and that was what began her journey with music.
